This is a hands-on session and the attendance is limited. Link will be sent to the attendees via email. Please send an email to adriana@journalismarena.eu if you don't get the email.

SQL is one of the basic tools for data analysis in the world and the language - which is straightforward and easy to learn - can be found in many other software packages. It has been used for decades for major investigations using large datasets and is a powerful way to join information contained in multiple datasets. When you’ve done all you can with spreadsheets but either your data are too big or you need to join tables (files), SQL (Structured Query Language) is for you.

To attend this class you need to have a basic knowledge of spreadsheets and you also need to download DB Browser, https://sqlitebrowser.org/.
