The whole planet is waiting for a pandemic vaccine. Many governments signed pre-buy deals with pharmaceutical companies, many of whose are frantically working to win the race for the first Sars-Cov-2 jab. Nevertheless, it’s not a secret for all experts that it is hard for a safe and effective vaccine to be developed in such a short time. Also, the industry was so far unsuccessful when it tried to come to a vaccine for other Coronas. So, how can an investigative journalist work on this issue of such a big public interest?
Rebecca Chandler will tell us what we do know and what we don’t when a vaccine is approved by the regulatory authorities. She will give us an overview of how we learn more after approval.
