Overview of journalism non-profits getting charity status across Europe

A potentially straightforward way to support non-profit newsrooms that produce public interest journalism would be making it easy for them go get charity status. That way, they can save time and money and get access to more diverse funding sources. However, often it's not easy for newsrooms or other journalism organisations to get charity status. How's the situation across Europe? What needs to change? We look at this not well-known issue through a panel of experts working on it.
