Generating story ideas from data: data availability in different parts of Europe

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Stories you can make with data are limited by the data you can get. Three data journalists from three different edges of Europe: Rui Barros with the daily newspaper Público in Portugal, Dada Lyndell with international non-profit OCCRP in Russia and Winny de Jong with the public news broadcaster NOS in Netherlands will take us through their favourite projects and talk about how they arrived from data to a story. In the panel discussion, we will be focusing on data availability. What obstacles can you expect if you wanted to make a similar story?
